The cleaning path width must fit through your tightest aisle with maneuvering room. The SS60 walk-behind has a 21 in (540 mm) path; the SS75-R ride-on has a 26 in (660 mm) path; the SL-1250 sweeper has a 43 in (1100 mm) sweeping path. As a rule, allow at least 12 in (305 mm) of clearance on either side of the cleaning path for turns and racking. Under 6 ft (1.83 m) of tightest-aisle width, choose the SS60 walk-behind. From 6 ft and above, the SS75-R ride-on covers more ground per pass. The SL-1250 sweeper is best for open floor plans that can accommodate a 43 in sweeping path.
