Familiarize Yourself with the Equipment
Before operating the Electric Pallet Jack, take the time to familiarize yourself with its features and controls.Watch the demonstration video provided by Sumachay to understand the proper operation and safety precautions.
Perform Pre-Operational Checks
Before each use, visually inspect the pallet jack for any visible damage, loose bolts, or hydraulic fluid leaks. Ensure that the battery is adequately charged and the emergency stop button is functional
Wear Proper Safety Gear
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety boots, gloves, and a high-visibility vest to protect yourself during operation.
Check Load Capacity
Determine the weight of the load to be transported and ensure it does not exceed the maximum load capacity of the pallet jack. Avoid overloading the equipment, as it can compromise stability and safety
Positioning and Lifting
Position the Electric Pallet Jack in front of the pallet to be lifted, ensuring that the forks are aligned with the pallet openings. Lower the forks to the ground and slide them underneath the pallet, ensuring they are fully inserted.
Maneuvering Safely
Use the direction control handle to steer the pallet jack in the desired direction. Maintain a safe distance from obstacles, racks, and other equipment while maneuvering.
