Fit & Compatibility

Will It Fit Your Facility?

Check the critical dimensions before you order.

Max Lift Height

51″ (1300 mm)

Turning Radius

44″ (1120 mm)

Pallet Compatibility

  • Standard open-bottom pallets (GMA, EUR)

  • Compatible with closed-bottom and block-style pallets, provided the pallet fits within the adjustable straddle leg width (max 60″)
How it works

Load a 5-ton truck without a dock, a ramp, or a forklift

The SS10EA's frame is the lifting system. The 12V electric motor raises the entire unit (stacker plus your pallet) to truck-bed height. You then walk it into the truck. That's the whole mechanism.

  1. 1

Roll up to the truck at ground level

Manual push, 1,120 mm turning radius. Works on concrete, asphalt, dock plate, or warehouse floor.

  2. 2

Engage the pallet, up to 1,000 kg

The forks enter a standard pallet. Then activate the 12V electric lift.

  3. 3

The frame lifts stacker + load together

Lift up to 1.3 m. Enough to reach a 5-ton truck bed, a delivery van floor, or low-height shelving.

  4. 4

Walk the unit into the truck, lower the load

No dock required. The SS10EA itself is the bridge between ground level and the truck bed.

Honest limits: max lift 1.3 m, max load 1,000 kg, manual travel. If you need more lift, more capacity, or powered travel, look at the SSE15 or SST15+ instead. We cover that comparison below.
Best-fit applications

Who buys the SS10EA

Every SS10EA operator in Canada has the same problem in common: they are loading or unloading pallets from trucks without a dock. Typical setups:

  • Route delivery — grocery, beverage, restaurant supply. Drivers move palletized product from their own truck into customer storerooms without needing dock access at every stop.
  • Last-mile and 3PL drop-off. Delivery crews servicing residential addresses, small retail, or street-level businesses that have no receiving equipment.
  • Furniture, appliance, and equipment delivery. Heavy items on pallets or skids that can’t be unloaded by hand.
  • Event rental and trade show freight. Loading and unloading staging gear and AV cases from trailers at venues with no dock.
  • Small-volume warehousing. Operations that need occasional stacking up to 1.3 m but can’t justify a full electric stacker.
Pick the right tool

When SS10EA is the right tool, and when it isn't

The SS10EA is a specialist, not a general-purpose warehouse stacker. Here's the honest comparison.

Electric pallet jack

SESR15

For moving pallets at floor level over long distances. Only lifts a few inches. No truck loading, no stacking.

See SESR15 →
This page

SS10EA

For truck-side loading without a dock and last-mile delivery. 1.3 m lift, 1,000 kg capacity, manual travel, 12V 60Ah battery. The trade-off: limited lift and capacity.

You are here
Semi-electric stacker

SSE15

For warehouse stacking. 1,500 kg, higher lift, manual travel. Pick SSE15 if you need more height or capacity and you have dock access.

See SSE15 →
Fully electric stacker

SST15+

For multi-shift warehouse operations. 1,500 kg, 3.5 m lift, electric travel, AC motor, 18-month warranty. This is the full-time warehouse stacker.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common buyer questions about the SS10EA self-loading stacker

Self-loading into trucks

How does the self-loading mechanism actually work?
The SS10EA's frame is itself the lifting system. A 12V electric motor raises the entire stacker (with your loaded pallet on the forks) to truck-bed height, up to 1.3 m (51″). You then walk the unit into the truck manually and release the load. The sequence is: roll up to the truck, engage the pallet, activate the lift, then walk into the truck bed. No dock, no ramp, no forklift required at either end.
What truck bed heights does it fit?
Up to 1.3 m (51″), which covers most 5-ton delivery trucks, cube vans, and mid-size box trucks. It does not fit full-size tractor-trailers (dry-van trailer beds are typically 1.3 to 1.5 m and vary) and it is not intended for loading dock-height trailers. Measure your truck bed before ordering; if you send the measurement with your quote we confirm fit before pricing.
How much does the stacker itself weigh?
Approximately 250 kg (550 lb) service weight. That matters because you need to be able to wheel it into a truck bed safely once it's elevated. The floor of the truck and any ramp you're transitioning across must support the stacker plus the pallet plus the operator.

SS10EA vs alternatives

What's the difference between semi-electric and fully electric?
The SS10EA is semi-electric: the lift is powered by a 12V motor, but you push the unit manually to move it. A fully electric stacker (like the SST15+) has powered travel as well, which matters in high-throughput warehouse operations where you're moving long distances repeatedly. Semi-electric is lighter, cheaper, and simpler, which is the right choice when your travel distances are short (truck to storeroom, delivery to dropoff). Pick fully electric if operators are walking pallets all shift long.
When should I pick something other than the SS10EA?
If you need to stack higher than 1.3 m, or handle loads heavier than 1,000 kg, the SS10EA is the wrong tool. Look at the SSE15 (1,500 kg, higher lift, semi-electric) or the SST15+ (1,500 kg, 3.5 m lift, fully electric, multi-shift warranty). If you only need to move pallets at floor level over long distances inside a warehouse and don't need to lift at all, the SESR15 electric pallet jack is a better match.

Battery & operation

How long does the 12V 60Ah battery last between charges?
Runtime depends entirely on how often you trigger the lift. Route-delivery operators doing 10 to 20 lift cycles per day typically finish a full day of work on one overnight charge. The battery powers only the lift. You push the unit manually, so there is no travel draw.

Warranty, freight & support

What does the warranty cover?
The SS10EA includes a standard 1-year manufacturer warranty on the stacker covering defects in materials and workmanship. Coverage applies to the equipment only. Chargers, batteries as consumables, and operator-wear parts (wheels, load rollers) are excluded. Warranty registration is automatic at purchase; no activation required.
Is service and support available in Canada?
Yes. Sumachay provides direct Canadian support for SS10EA owners, including parts, technical guidance, and warranty claims. Contact sales@sumachay.com or 844-861-9484 for post-purchase support.
How does pricing and quoting work?
The listed price is direct-from-the-manufacturer pricing for the base SS10EA configuration. Final pricing depends on your delivery location and freight method. Submit the quote form on this page with your operational context (truck type, route, stopping points) and our team responds within 24 hours with a detailed quote.
What does delivery and freight look like?
The SS10EA ships via LTL freight on a pallet. Delivery typically takes 3–10 business days across Canada depending on your location. Because you are receiving a 250 kg crated stacker, we confirm your receiving capability with you before scheduling freight. Freight and delivery options are finalized with your quote.
